No fixed minimum. Some Indian HRMS plans charge a flat monthly fee or bill a minimum band of 25 to 50 employees, so a small team pays for seats it has not filled. LekhaHR bills only the people you have: 5 employees on Operations cost ₹395 a month on annual billing, before GST.
Rates fall as you grow. LekhaHR's bands work like tax slabs: each rate applies only to the people inside its band, from ₹79 for the first 25 down to ₹49 past 100. Hiring one more person adds one line at that band's rate and never raises the rate for everyone else.

How much does HRMS software cost in India?

Many Indian HRMS plans are priced per employee a month, and some add a flat fee covering the first 25 or 50 people or a minimum user count, so small teams pay more per head. LekhaHR charges only for active employees: ₹79 each for the first 25 on Operations, billed annually, before GST.

What does LekhaHR cost for 10, 50 or 100 employees?

On Operations with annual billing, before GST: 10 employees cost ₹790 a month, 50 cost ₹3,700 and 100 cost ₹6,650, ₹66.50 each on average. Business costs ₹119 for each of the first 25, falling to ₹85 above 100. The table and calculator on this page show your bill line by line.

Is there a minimum number of employees?

No. There is no minimum headcount and no base platform fee, so a team of three pays for three: ₹237 a month on Operations with annual billing, before GST. The bill rises one person at a time and never drops when you hire, because each band's rate applies only to the people inside it.

Is there a free plan or a free trial?

No. LekhaHR is available by invitation, so there is no free plan and no self-serve trial. Each invited team is billed only for active employees, per month, with GST shown separately. Our free templates and calculators need no sign-up.

Who counts as an active employee?

Anyone with an active employee record during the billing month. Once an exit is complete, that person stops counting. Their records stay in LekhaHR for statutory and audit history, and they aren't billed. Because they stop counting, they no longer count towards your team's band either.

Monthly or annual billing?

The rates on this page are for annual billing. If you pay monthly, each employee costs ₹20 more in every band, so ₹99 instead of ₹79 for the first 25 people on Operations. Annual billing is invoiced once a year.

Is GST included in the price?

No. GST at 18% is added to the bill and shown on its own line, so the rates here are what you pay before tax. For five people on Operations, annual billing, that is ₹395 plus ₹71.10 GST, ₹466.10 a month.

Can we switch plans?

Yes. Move between Operations and Business when your needs change. Your records and history stay as they are. Both plans are priced per active employee a month in the same bands, and Business includes everything in Operations.
