Self-service for small teams. Each person confirms their own details, applies for leave, punches in, reads payslips and follows requests from their phone. HR sees each change arrive, with a time and a name.
Included in LekhaHR Operations: ₹79 per employee per month on annual billing for the first 25, no minimum; GST extra. See every band

When something's wrong
because the person a detail belongs to is the one most likely to spot a mistake in it.
Asha taps “Something's wrong” beside her bank account. She types the right one and attaches a cancelled cheque. Meenal gets it with both values side by side, and pay keeps using the current account until she approves.
Mobile number, personal email, emergency contact and photo.
Bank account, PAN, legal name, date of birth and address, in these sample settings.
The old value and the new one stay in the field's trail, with who asked and who approved.

Each number opens into its reason, the same one her manager sees.
At 10:14 on Tue 29 Sep, Asha's phone shows the hours so far, her week, the leave request that's with Meenal, and what she has left to use.

Payslips and the line question
because “why is this deducted?” deserves an answer on the payslip, not a week of email.
Rohan opens his September payslip on the evening it is issued. He taps the PF line, reads why it is there, and asks payroll the question he still has.
For a loan, a visa or a rent agreement, from the same screen.
The manager never sees it. The reply stays on the payslip line.
Where tax was deducted, on the same phone as the payslips it was built from.

Why it's there
PF is compulsory for you because your PF wages this month, ₹10,817, are below the ceiling all month (₹15,000 to 16 Sep 2026, ₹25,000 from 17 Sep 2026), so it can't be stopped. Your share is 12%, and Paiteq pays its own share on top.
Your question
I thought PF was optional for me. Can I stop it and take the full amount?

Requests and where they are
A question keeps a request open. It never turns into a silent no.
Every request sits on the employee's “Raised by me” list with its state: approved, with someone, queried or saved, and the time beside it. Nothing disappears into an inbox. This is Asha's list on Tue 29 Sep 2026, showing who holds each request and since when.

What HR still decides
because self-service should take the typing off HR, not the judgement.
Self-service moves requests to the person who owns the decision, with the working already done. It never lets anyone approve their own request.
because they know the team's week, and HR can step in
because payroll and statutory forms read them
because a letter goes out on the company's name
because only payroll can explain or correct pay
because a job change starts on a day, and the old line stays

Questions
An employee self-service (ESS) portal lets each employee handle their own HR tasks without asking HR: check and correct their details, apply for leave, punch attendance, open payslips and follow their requests. In LekhaHR every change an employee makes lands on their record with a time and their name, and the changes that affect pay wait for HR.
Employees join from an email invitation and sign in with a one-time code sent to their email, so there is no password to forget. Self-service opens in any browser, on a phone or a laptop. It works today in the phone's browser, with nothing to install. A native mobile app is coming soon.
Confirm and correct their own details, upload documents, apply for leave and see the days counted and the balance left before they submit, punch in and out, fix a missed punch, open payslips and ask about any line, request letters such as a salary certificate, and track every request they have raised.
They can ask for the change from their phone, with a document if your settings ask for one. The new account goes to HR to approve, and pay keeps using the current account until it is approved. Nobody approves their own change.
Yes, every month, with each line explained, and Form 130 (earlier Form 16) at the end of the year where tax was deducted. If a line looks wrong, the employee asks about that line from the payslip. Only payroll sees the question, not the manager.
Only what the team directory shows, such as name, role, team and work email. Personal details, documents and pay are visible to the person and to roles you allow, never to colleagues. Who can open what is set by role, and seeing someone's pay needs its own permission.
No. Self-service on web and mobile is part of both plans, and the price is per employee with no fixed monthly minimum. Operations, the plan it starts in, is ₹79 per employee a month for the first 25, on annual billing, before GST.
